• In 2003,we formed specific plan ,in which we recognized adsorbent as the most important part of our project, and started to seek for suitable suppliers
• In April.2004,we selected suitable activated-carbon which is of large adsorptive capacity at normal temperature and pressure ,of high desorbing rate and can be recycled. We named it as CG-3 light hydrocarbon adsorbent.
• In October.2004,after analyzing large amount of experiment data of CG-3 light hydrocarbon adsorbent, we confirmed design basis of adsorption tower, vacuum pump and control system, such as diameter and height of adsorption tower, adsorption rate, adsorption capacity, desorption vacuum, controlling of temperature rise |

Background
In 1990s,Chuguan CO,LTD noticed that light oils are easy to volatilize and during transportation. and cause pollution. and we started to collect information about gasoline vapor recovery.
In 2002,Chuguan began to put emphasis on gasoline vapor recovery unit .Che Weixin ,Member of S863 Plan Panel, senior engineer was in charge of our project. We initiated market investigation, feasibility study and technical development at that time.
With 5 years’ effort, this research has got substantive results and approved by national authorities . gasoline vapor recovery unit started to guide our strategy for development. |
